The number of views displayed on a photo is collected from across the site.
If your photo was seen in one of the following places it is added to the total count:
- Voting
- Ranking
- Winner - Challenge or Top Tab
- Profile
- Articles
- Activity
*Note: This is why the number of Votes/Views is not a correct calculation.
The voting system has a separate counter to balance the photo based on their 'Exposure Bonus' and 'Boost'.
